COVID-19 - Changes to study details

We understand you may need to make changes to your courses as part of your response to COVID-19.
We recommend that, wherever possible, providers do not make changes to a student’s study start date to minimise any disruption to their financial support.
Students can be on a break from study for up to 3 weeks and still remain eligible for student allowances and loans. Where students are directed to remain off campus they are still considered to be meeting their academic requirements.

We know many students are worried about the impact of COVID-19 if they can’t study as normal. The StudyLink website has been updated with information for students about Student Allowance and Student Loan living costs payments.
