VoS response with fees information
05 September 2018.
Guidance on what to include in a VoS response that has fees information.
When you send a VoS response with fees information, you need to include, for the study period, the:
- 'Total Fees'
- amount of 'Fees Requested'.
Total Fees
‘Total Fees’ means the total of all fees for that particular student. It's the total fees for the programme(s) and study period(s) you've given us in the VOS response. This also includes any compulsory fees the student has asked the Student Loan to pay for. The compulsory fees are what the student pays for their course, including:
- tuition fees
- examination fees
- student health levies
- mandatory course costs that are common to all students.
Fees Requested
The amount of 'Fees Requested' is the portion of the fees you want us to pay. This is the amount that's not being paid for by fees-free or the student themselves.
