Connect is an online tool students can use to upload and send their documents to us. On Sunday 26 September 2021 we'll be giving Connect a refresh, to make it more modern and easy to use. We're also removing some steps to make the process simpler.
Our annual call to action campaign encouraging students to apply for their 2022 student finance is now underway - and there are lots of things you can do to help.
The Minister of Education announced today that the Government has increased funding for the Hardship Fund for Learners and extended student living support payments for up to eight weeks, for students unable to study online due to impacts of COVID-19.
From 9pm Friday 9 April to 4pm Sunday 11 April, students won’t be able to apply online, log into MyStudyLink or use Connect.
Apprenticeships and some vocational courses are now fully funded by the Government's Targeted Training and Apprenticeship Fund (TTAF) from 1 July 2020, until 31 December 2022.
As part of Budget 2020, the Government has announced a Targeted Trades and Apprenticeships Fund (TTAF). StudyLink are working with the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) on the implementation of the fund and fee refund processes.
More support for students was announced in the Government’s 2020 Budget on 14 May 2020.
Inland Revenue's system will be down for a week in April (Easter weekend).
