Changes to Student Loan contracts online

First-time Student Loan applicants can now accept their contract online, removing the need to sign a paper contract.

Currently, only returning students can accept their contract online - but this change extends that option to most new applicants.

To access MyStudyLink and view their contract, we must first confirm the student’s identity. The fastest and easiest way for students to do this is by applying with a verified RealMe login.

Using a verified RealMe login means:

  • Their identity is confirmed to StudyLink immediately
  • They can access MyStudyLink straight away
  • They can view and accept their contract without delay.

Note: students who are aged under 18 on the date that they apply will still require a paper contract to be signed as they need to have the consent of a parent.
